The location was perfect for our romantic escape, nestled in a quiet lane on a hill with beautiful surroundings. the communal areas were cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing and enjoying a good book. the breakfast options were outstanding, with a wide range of delicious choices to start the day off right. Plus, the friendly and welcoming hosts made our stay even more enjoyable.
The decor was a bit rustic for our taste and felt a bit outdated. the water pressure in the shower was not very strong, which made it a bit difficult to fully relax and enjoy the experience.

We had a wonderful family retreat at this charming B&B. the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, greeting us by name each morning. the breakfast was a sumptuous feast, served in a beautiful and atmospheric room with pleasant background music. the cozy sitting room with a fireplace was perfect for relaxation and socializing with other guests. Our kids enjoyed exploring the property and having tea in the cozy library.
The WiFi was only available in the common areas, which initially disappointed us, but it turned out to be a clever design that encouraged interaction with other guests.

I had the most exceptional stay at a guest house near Ballyvaughan. As soon as I arrived, I was warmly greeted by the owner, Wolfgang, who gave me a personal tour of the beautifully decorated house. The atmosphere was so homely and comfortable, I instantly felt at ease. The location of the guest house was perfect, only a short drive from Ballyvaughan, but far enough away to enjoy a peaceful and quiet evening. The surrounding countryside was absolutely stunning, providing a picturesque backdrop.

We had a big surprise when we arrived at Waters - it was very different from what we expected, but in a wonderful way. the country house had a beautiful limestone quirky building that gave it a unique charm. Wolfgang and Maria, the owners, were wonderful and friendly hosts. the breakfast they served was the best we had during our 3-day staycation in Clare. We will definitely be back to Waters Country House Guest House!
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like! 😊.
